Purchased from West Coast Classics in Santa Monica in late summer 2016 and shipped back to the UK, the car has been in storage for 3 years and is now undergoing a schedule of restoration and modification works (November 2019). An all matching numbers car showing 29,100 miles, her Jaguar Heritage Certificate confirms original colours were silver with a red interior. The car was delivered to her first owner in New York in 1974 and has spent most of her life in the sunnier states of the USA. Now being prepared for her first winter of driving in the UK! | |

The EType was introduced when I was 13 years old and I have coveted one ever since. Finally, 55 years later and after retiring I bought one from a classic Jag specialist dealer in Guildford, UK. A very original Series 3 OTS in Signal red with biscuit coloured interior and hood. It looks and drives beautifully. Sensitive upgrades: better brakes, bigger alternator, modern ignition and engine overhaul have made it even better. | |

 | She is my second E-type.First was 1S71849,a sable V12 2+2 I sold for a 5 years love affair with a 1968 Rolls Royce.I bought this E-type 4 years ago and she spent 2 years in bad bodyshops,hence real work starting two years ago.I did myself the complete interior,brakes,electrics,suspension,fuel and ignition system which now make this car really reliable.I tried to keep her as original as I could but it'snot easy when you consider the amount of b******s who abused this car between brown's lane and me.But I now can enjoy unlimited pleasure with this "sex on wheels". |
