1/03: At some point in this car's life, probably at the same time it grew the awful sill repairs, the paint on the outside was removed with a grinder. Some of the original panels are extremely thin--almost half their original thickness is gone (the car is now a "genuine" lightweight!). The rear of the front fenders are the worst, with literally a knife edge in places. Mark leaded the worst of it to build thickness back up...it was too delicate to weld.
