This 1969 Series 2 XKE convertible came with a 4 speed transmission, and has traveled under 31,000 miles with two long term owners. The Heritage certificate verified sable exterior, and the drivetrain is a full match. A complete rotisserie restoration was recently finished on the car. The body was stripped down to bare metal and was noted to be rust and accident free, and the car retains all its original panels. Original chrome was refinished and all major systems including exhaust, cooling, brakes, and electrical were fully updated. This 1969 Jaguar XKE Series II roadster was built in September 1969 and reportedly had two registered owners before being purchased by the seller in May 2018. The car was restored prior to his purchase and is finished in Opalescent Gunmetal with a black soft top over a red leather interior. Power is from the original 4.2-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed manual transmission, and an oil change was last performed in August 2019. This Series II XKE roadster is now offered with photos documenting the restoration, a Jaguar Heritage Certificate, and a clean Massachusetts title in the seller’s name.

According to the Jaguar Heritage Certificate, the car left the factory finished in Sable. It was refinished in Opalescent Gunmetal during the refurbishment, and provided photos show the car during various stages of the work. Exterior trim pieces have been re-chromed, and a black soft top is fitted.

15” chrome wire wheels wear Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. The braking system was reportedly rebuilt during the restoration.

Originally trimmed in black, the car now features a red leather interior with matching carpets and door panels. The sale includes black all-weather floor mats with the Jaguar logo.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts a black dashboard that houses Smiths gauges, including a 160-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer. Aftermarket speakers have been installed on both sides of the transmission tunnel. The five-digit odometer shows 33k miles, 3k of which were added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.

The 4.2-liter inline-six was reportedly rebuilt during the restoration, which was completed in 2016. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission. Maintenance performed in August 2019 is said to have included an oil and filter change.

Stamping 7R 7355-9 matches the engine number listed on the data plate and the Jaguar Heritage Certificate.
