Ebay item 4/17/14
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-1970-jaguar-e-type-roadster-/191139108735
Opening bid $49,900 reserve not met, no bids 2 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
This little stunning Series 2 E-Type Roadster just received a fresh coat of Regency Red and had a full engine rebuild. It is ready to hop in and drive. No dents. It was restored sometime in the past decade. The wire wheels are clean and beautifully restored. All chrome presents very well. Engine fires up effortlessly and accelerates strong and smooth. No signs of rust anywhere on the body or frame. Interior looks correct and shows little wear. The original and correct wooden steering wheel is a little bit dry, and could use some TLC (this is the only thing I can really fault on the car!). Gaps are even, tires have tread, soft-top is in very good condition. It has the period correct Jaguar radio. Trunk wood, cover, metal and spare tire are very good condition. Odometer is showing 41,607 miles, which could very well be original. We believe the engine was replaced at some point, but is correct for the Series 2 E-Type. We have receipts for the recent work. I'm happy to walk around the car and go over it in detail with any interested parties. No surprises, this is an honest E-Type Roadster looking for a new home!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
