Sellers description:
1970 E Type Jaguar Roadster Series Two. 6 cylinder. This car is virtually a one owner car since I have owned it since 1976. I bought it with 5000 miles. I have meticulously maintained it for 29 years. For the past 25 years this has been my second or third car. I have a complete file of all receipts from the begining. All parts have been rebuilt and maintained to the highest level as long as I have owned it. The engine and rear end were rebuilt by XK'S Unlimited. All lenses, lights and rubber have been replaced with factory original parts. All of the chrome have been replated, except the bumper, which are in excelent original condition. The car has a new windshield. I recently spent $5000.00 on sorting out everything including a major tune-up, new hoses and belts. The engine bay sheet metal has been replaced. I have powder coated the heater box and air cleaner boxes. It has new chrome wire wheels and tires. It has a new Moto Lita 1" smaller steering wheel to make getting in and out of the car easier and improves the handling.
This car has recently been repainted in the original Willow Green it came with. the car was stripped to the bare metal and all old damage was correctly repaired. All sheet metal was checked and the floor pans were replaced. The car was painted by one of the most reputable shops in the Los Angeles area. The under hood area was also painted.
The interior is new as is the top. I replaced the top with a fabric top instead, costing twice the amount, just because I thought it looks so much better than the original vinyl top. the top bows were re-painted and all of the top chrome was re-plated.
How much is a no stories car worth to you?
You can buy one of the many dealer owned so called JCNA 99 point cars. those cars have all been owned by someone who really knows nothing about the car they are selling. I can guarentee a no stories car since I have owned it and have done most of the work myself. This car comes with two cases of spare parts including bumpers and new brake rotors.
This car is located in Los Angeles.
