It is also a model with matching numbers.

A trained eye can always spot a well-restored E-Type. Door fit is a key indicator, as this area is notoriously difficult to perfect due to the complex shapes of the car's sides. This car stands out in this area, with well aligned doors testifying to the quality of the bodywork.
Elsewhere, the quality is equally impressive. The paintwork and chrome are well maintained, with few signs of use. The matching folding top is in good condition with clear glass, and the reworked blue leather interior is impressive. The interior remains mostly original, including the wooden steering wheel, but with a modernised dashboard in blue.
Mechanicals
Jaguar XK 4,235 cm³ in-line 6-cylinder engine
4-speed manual gearbox
Well-maintained engine compartment as shown in the photos
Vehicle with matching numbers
Stainless steel exhaust
The 2 Series was the last E-Type - and the last Jaguar sports car - to feature Jaguar's famous XK in-line 6-cylinder engine. Perfected for Le Mans, it's a mechanical gem whose generous torque is one reason why you should buy one of these latest SWB models.
Chassis plates and production records confirm that this is a model with matching numbers, the engine bearing the correct 7R prefix for a Series 2 E-Type. The car is in very good working order, with a well-maintained engine bay and stainless steel exhaust.
