Sellers comment:
Original white and all original parts and engine. A very good and solid restorable car. Car was running great 2 years ago. Excellent engine, trans., drive train, carbs, just got to rewire those damn Lucas electronics! (laughs) Had a problem with the ignition wires burning. And also some of the guages were not working properly. If you choose to rewire entire car it's 500-1000 for 6 wire harnesses and approx. 35 shop hours(which I would recommend) although any mech. familiar with these can get it running in 2 or 3 days like my mechanic did when I purchased the car and it was stored in a car port for 4 years not running! Don't believe anyone who says you must rebuild carbs. if car has not been running, it takes time but the carbs are fine and just use the old chem tool! These days mechanics will rip you off and say you need this and that.... My mechanic had it running like a top with lots of power and it drove smooth, real smooth! The ride and feel of this car is excellent. This car is a gem.
Vehicle Condition
The car has minor rust spots. But, this is a Texas car, NOT an East or West coast car that has salt water rust which can ruin vehicles like a cancer. There is a small dent that is pictured on the drivers side front quarter panel. The Front seats need to be re-upholstered. The doors open and close just like the car was brand new! Engine, drive train, transmission, carbs. are very good/excellent. Just needs to be rewired and a little TLC.
