    Lot 519: 1972 Jaguar E-Type Series III V12 Roadster
    Festival Of Speed, Bonhams (7th July 2006)
    Overview
    This 1972 (tax exempt) E-Type Series III Roadster was acquired by the vendor in 2004 from Runnymede Motor Company. The car come with Runnymede’s list of work carried out prior to sale (costing £6,458) which included rebuilding the carburettors; stripping out the original mustard-coloured interior and re-trimming with a new black leather kit; and fitting a new tailor-made mohair hood. Other parts renewed at that time include the fuel lines, spark plugs, battery, shock absorbers and clutch master cylinder. A desirable manual transmission model, the car has covered circa 2,500 miles in present ownership and comes with two expired MoTs, Swansea V5 registration document and MoT to January 2007
