Sold by Vintage and Prestige Classic Cars of Northampton in April 2022. Seller's description below.
www.vandpsales.net/sales/2321/1972-jaguar-e-type-v12-manual-roadster-with-hard-t ...

An impeccable two owner car that has covered 71,000 miles from new and comes with masses of paperwork. The car was resprayed in its original colour of signal red some years ago and presents perfectly. A new black leather interior and carpets were fitted by Suffolk and Turley who are the last word in Jaguar interior trim being located just down the road from the Browns Lane factory. The V12 engine is smooth and silent pulling strongly and silently. It starts readily and settles down to a very smooth tick over. The car comes with its original black factory hard top and it fitted with the desirable 4 speed manual gearbox.

Currently the car sits on newish chrome wire wheels with spin off hubs. The original pressed steel wheels also come with the car. The heritage certificate confirms this is a correct and matching numbers car. The car comes with a mohair roof in excellent order and a full length tonneau cover that secures the cockpit when deployed. This is a gorgeous car that has always been garaged since new and been maintained without regard to cost, a way above average example.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
