Ebay item 3/4/16
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-Roadster-/121913474896
Car has a buy it now price of $45,000 for 6 days. Seller faunlimited1, 100k miles.
Sellers description:
1969 Jaguar E-type Roadster.
Single Family ownership since the 90's
I must have passed by the garage this e-type had been sitting in over 100 times, Recently, on my normal route, I spotted the back end of the car sitting inside the open garage very briefly as I passed. I decided to turn around and ask if It was for sale, initially they were not sure, but after owning the car for such a long time, they decided it was time to let it go. So here it is, first time offered for sale since the 90's.
This car was purchased in Las Vegas Nevada in 1991 buy the previous owners Father, He and his Son in law drove the car back to Texas after the purchase, from there, it remained somewhat of a family heirloom, passing hands and caretakers within the family. The car was often borrowed by other family members for their enjoyment for a few weeks at a time, then returned.
This car would best be considered a driver, the paint is older and cracking in areas the interior is good, and all gauges work, oil pressure is excellent and the clutch has been replaced
the car pulls well thru all gears, and smokes a little upon startup then goes away.
The engine is not original to the car, and has webber carburetors
The underside is good, with some common rust around the floor inserts as they are original. overall a solid car for the most part.
I have a clear title for the car
