Current bid $6,050, 9 bids 3 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
This 1969 E-Type 2+2 coupe is complete but in rough, rusty condition. The car has wire wheels and rare factory air conditioning, which appears to be complete. The compressor is not seized. The engine turns freely but the car has not been started in many years. Subframes appear undamaged. Interior is complete and in decent shape, but it has been reupholstered in burgundy vinyl. Gauges and switchgear are all present. All the trim and chrome are included and appear to be restorable or usable as they are. The car is quite rusty. It is restorable but this would require major metalwork, new sills, floors, quarters, bonnet work, as well as a complete mechanical and cosmetic overhaul. It would be a great parts car. There are many thousand of dollars worth of parts on this car at current values, conservatively speaking. In a few years, they will be worth a shade more. I purchased this car at a local auction and do not have a title, so it will be sold with a Masachusetts bill of sale. If the new owner wishes, we can obtain a legal title but this takes time and involves the payment of state sales taxes.
