8/11/11 car offered at:
www.thelastdetail.com/galleria_detailed.php
Asking $44,900.

Sellers description:
1970 Jaguar XKE Series II Coupe featuring the highly desirable color combination of a Brilliant Red Exterior over a Black Leather Interior. This XKE has been the recent recipient of a full service including suspension and steering updates. It features the 4.2Liter Straight-6 engine with triple weber carbs backed by a full synchromesh 4-speed. This Series II Coupe also is equipped with Factory Air Conditioning, an option in that year, but a rare find just the same. The Original Factory Interior is in Excellent shape and the Wire Wheels look like new!

Throw the car into first gear, and you will note the extremely positive shifts and well defined gates. The steering wheel is well proportioned, allowing for ample leverage at both high and low speeds. The ride is sports car taut, but not harsh in any way. A through TLD inspection, service and detail have recently been performed and this exceptional automobile is now ready for its next owner.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
