Ebay item 12/19/12
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-/150967506534
Opening bid $75,000 reserve not met, no bids 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
This investment grade 1967 Jaguar E-Type Roadster is arguably one of the finest examples of what Enzo Ferrari called 'the most beautiful car ever made".

It is a rare, late production vehicle (May 12th, 1967). It has all the hallmarks of the final 300 Series 1 vehicles with the one improvement of open halogen headlamps to help this cat see better after dark.

The car has travelled 3,500 miles since a complete professional chassis and mechanical restoration.

A comprehensive documentation of the restoration along with photographs and detailed receipts are available.

It starts instantly, idles smoothly and is an exquisite pleasure to drive. The body is rust free, dent free with perfectly aligned British Racing Green body panels. The leather interior, top, and tonneau cover are Tan in colour. A matching factory Hardtop is included.

The five (5) tires Michelin asymmetrical radial tires, specific to the period, are mounted on correctly sized Jaguar spoked wheels. Included is a complete tool kit, jack with cover, hammers, owner's manual, warranty book and original service manual.

The car has always been stored in a heated garage and covered with a custom soft fabric (included) Wolf cover.

The Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate certificate accompanies this car.

Additionally, during a visit we made to the Jaguar Heritage Trust Museum in the UK, the Director kindly produced the actual production records identifying the complete manufacturing details and dates pertinent to this vehicle's manufacture and export . Copies of this also accompany the vehicle.

Professionally appraised at $140,000. This appraisal is consistent with the current Hagerty Price Guide which values Series 1 Roadsters in Condition 1 at $147,000.

I encourage you to personally visit or have the car independently inspected. We are located 2 miles from the Victoria B C airport

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
