www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-XKE-/142039588601
Car has a buy it now price of $120,000 for 6 days, seller jmlegendauto, 79k miles.

Sellers description:
1967 Jaguar XKE
79,193 Miles
Willow Green with Black Leather Interior

Offered here is a very original late 1967 Jaguar E-Type Roadster. This particular example is an 4.2 L open headlamp car with toggle switches, 3 SU carburetors, and an open gloebox. The late 1967 cars featured this instead of twin Stromberg carburetors, rocker switches on the dash, and a closed glovebox. This car was featured in a Panasonic advertisement in 1981 with Daryl Hall and John Oates. We have the advertisement in Rockbill Magazine signed by them as well as the letter of the specifics of the advertisement. While the car has been painted, it retains its original interior. This car has undergone a full mechanical restoration and runs like new.

This Jaguar XKE Series I roadster was manufactured in January 1967 and distributed through Jaguar Cars of New York. The car remained with a single owner between May 1974 and May 2016, and it was purchased later that year by the seller. A subsequent restoration was commissioned by the seller, with cosmetic portions performed by Michaelian Restoration in Stuart, Florida. Approximately $100k worth of work performed between 2016 and 2019 included servicing the 4.2-liter inline-six, refinishing the car in Willow Green, refreshing the trim and replacing components, and reupholstering the interior in black leather. The car is equipped with a four-speed manual transmission, triple SU side-draft carburetors, 15″ wire wheels, power-assisted brakes, a black soft top, triple windshield wipers, and a heater. This Series I roadster is now offered with a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate, refurbishment photos, manufacturer’s literature, a framed Hall & Oates poster, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

During the restoration, the car was stripped and prior repairs were corrected before the car was seam sealed and repainted its factory shade of Willow Green. Trim was re-chromed, the windshield and nose pivot bushings were replaced, and the top frame was sandblasted, epoxy coated, and refinished.

Replacement 15″ knock-off wire wheels were mounted with 205/70 Dunlop Signature II tires in 2016. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors.

The interior has been reupholstered in the factory black and features leather-trimmed seats, a vinyl-trimmed dashboard, tan seatbelts, a cabin heater, a Sony stereo, and aftermarket speakers. The floors were refinished and repaired, and fabrication and fitment work was performed by Michaelian Restoration.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a Smiths 160-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer, while auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and amperage are located in the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 81k miles. LED bulbs have been installed in the dashboard. The speedometer, tachometer, and clock were rebuilt in 2018.

The 4.2L twin-cam inline-six is equipped with triple SU carburetors and was factory rated at 265 horsepower and 283 lb-ft of torque. In 2016 seals and drivetrain mounts were replaced, the cooling and fuel systems were repaired, and a 123Ignition system was installed.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.

The Jaguar Heritage Trust Production Record Trace certificate shows the original colors and drivetrain numbers as well as the build and dispatch dates.

The car is said to have been used for a promotional photo of Daryl Hall and John Oates, and the framed image above is included in the sale.

Photos of the car during various stages of refurbishment are included in the sale along with manufacturer’s literature and a printed description of the car’s history.
