From 5/86 Ejag magazine: Derek Davis of California is the proud owner of this magnificent Series 1 E-type roadster. As you can see from the outside hood latches, this is one of the first 500 E-types made. It has flat floor boards, welded-in hood louvers, and the outside latches among other characteristics. This car is extra rare among the first 500. It is a right-hand drive roadster, number 37 out of 91 made."
