Ebay item 9/28/04
cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid 21,000.00 (Reserve met), 23 bids, 4 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
This E-Type Jaguar is an impressive example of a classic English sports car manufactured in 1974, with full Heritage Certification which shows the engine and gearbox numbers match..
It was shipped over from the United States and converted to right hand drive in 1997. The car has been fully restored to a very high standard with love and care, to which I have many receipts for the work carried out.
I only use the car in fair weather and have only covered 1,000 miles in the past seven years. The engine is a 5.3 litre V12 with manual gear box, which runs on leaded and un-leaded fuel.
The car has had a bare metal re-spray to bring the paintwork back to it's original green sand Jaguar colour, which is immaculate; all chrome work is also in excellent condition.
There is, however, a slight mark on the drivers door as shown in picture gallery.
After being the proud owner of this car for seven years I am reluctantly selling my car due to emigrating to sunnier climates!.
This car should go to another Jaguar lover who has the time and passion to exhibit this car at shows. I have been approached many times to do so, however, with family and work commitments it hasn't been possible.

I have for sale my beautiful 1974 E Type Jaguar convertible, it is a series 3, V12, 5,300cc. The car started life in the USA and was shipped to the UK in 1997, it was then converted to right hand drive and underwent a full metal respray and a new black mohair hood was fitted. The car is in original green sand Jaguar colour. This beautiful car has only covered 54,000 miles and only 4 of them in the last 10 years! As the car was built in the USA it has far more chrome bits in the engine and body than UK models. Anybody and everybody admires this car, I have had 4 E types in the past and this is by far the best looking and most reliable. I have travelled around the Lake District on many occasions and it has never let me down. The car is not concourse but it is in very good order, it had a full new ignition system fitted and MOT'd last wek.
