Sellers description:
Mileage: 53,883 (Original mileage title)
Serial Number: UE1S24730BW
We acquired this magnificent Jaguar from it's adult female owner who has owned this car for many, many years. She bought it from it's original owner and has loved and cared for it in every way possible.
She told me it was a wedding gift from her Husband. They have a Winter home in Stuart, Florida and drove it only on perfect sunny days during the Florida winter season each year...hence the very low actual mileage.
One of the things she never liked about this 1974 Jaguar was the ugly bumpers that the DOT made Jaguar put on the 1974 models..they attached two rubber extensions to the front & rear bumpers that stuck out almost 4 inches. The bumpers on this 74 Jaguar are from a 1972 Jaguar XKE III Roadster.
The AC blows ice cold on this gorgeous Jag.
It starts up every time..the very first time and the electric choke works perfect.
The Convertible top is new as is the black leather interior.
All the gauges work just as they should!
The only thing that we could find that does not work properly is the clock...but it is right twice a day.
This is an exceptional car...the former owner told us that she had never got stuck one time in her baby...that it has never seen the likes of a flat bed truck...pretty incredible for a V-12 Jaguar..after all...the electrical system in these Jags were affectionately names "Lucas..the prince of darkness"
The chrome wire wheels are beautiful! (all 5)
The original radio was not in this car but it does have a great sounding Sony AM/FM/Stereo/CD player.
I have personally driven this Jaguar and I see no reason why you couldn't hop in and drive it coast to coast.
