Opening bid $50,000 reserve not met, no bids 5 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
My car is in very good condition but is not concours. I drive it for fun in the summer. If you study the pictures you will notice it has been converted to covered headlights and has the side repeaters removed. It also has a series 1 type exhaust with "cherry bomb" style mufflers and SS resonators, winged knock offs and the very ugly 1974 bumpers removed. Wood rimmed steering wheel and walnut shift knob go along with a new interior and carpets covering sound deadening mat.
Mechanically the engine has been redone to include rebuilt heads with new guides, valves and springs, honed liners and new rings, new crank and rod bearings, new cam chain and tensioner with new cam wheels and idler wheel.
It also has all new cooling system components including new radiator, header tank, water pump, belts, hoses, etc.
I basically started at the front and replaced anything that could be with either more modern components or NOS items.
A previous owner started to make the car into a show car by chroming a lot of components, and that goes a long way towards making the car look so nice under the bonnet. I think he must have run out of money or desire when he reached the firewall.
It has a new black top and the top frame was powder coated, but I never run with it up, it's just there in case. The CD player is a modern unit that looks old fashioned, but I had the antenna cut out covered up when the car was painted because I don't listen to radio when I can hear V-12 music.
It has new GAZ shocks all around, motor mounts, down pipes, brake lines, etc, etc, etc. All master and slave cylinders replaced. Crane electronic ignition, Iridium plugs and of course new plug wires and cap. I had the intake manifolds polished and I think it shows very well.
The Carbs have been rebuilt including new shafts and seals. It also has a modern gear reduction starter, a modern fuel pump. I know I'm forgetting quite a bit of work done and parts replaced! Oh yeah, new windshield, and new Pirelli tires.

I have all the parts removed if someone wants to put it back stock.

Please note, all A/C components have been removed along with all smog gear.

There are a few items that I would address if i kept the car:

The 6A exhaust valve lash needs to be redone, it's noisy.
One of the two muffler brackets on the left side needs re-welding.
There is a small crack in the lower left headlight cover. Don't know what to do about that, but it has been drill stopped.
