Car has a buy it now price of $75,000 for 20 days. 45k miles. Said to be in Atlanta, Georgia.
Sellers description:
Jaguar 1974 E-Type Roadster. Matching numbers. Green Sand (Grey Poupon color) Cinnamon Leather Interior. 285BHP V-12. 45,000 Original Miles. English Cloth Top. It took me quite a while to find this beautiful color. First time for sale in 30 years.
This "E" was purchased new at Baker Motor Car Company on Peachtree St here in Atlanta and never has left the Atlanta area! This is a 2 owner car that I purchase from the original owner in 1984! I will have owned the E-Type for 30 years this coming summer.
I was founder and owner of JAG ATLANTA & Jaguar Performance Center starting in the late 1970's-1999 when I retired. This "E" was superbly taken care of by my staff, and today is a beautiful driver. I have had many E-Types since 1975 and this and my 1967 Roadster are my favorites. This is a great touring car.
Won "Best In Class" JCNA when I showed it in the 1990's and less than 1000 miles since. Interior, Boot, Engine Compartment are in beautiful condition. Repainted the original color back then with lacquer paint and retains its patina.
Included with this E-Type;
I have the following "Original" items:
• Owner's Manual
• Workshop Manual
• Factory Parts Catalogue
• Tool Roll ($2000.00 Value)
• Jack
• Boot Cover
• Factory Dealer Brochure
• Knock off Hammer & Brass Tool
Still have the original dealer stick on plastic boot emblem.
Automatic Transmission (B.W. Model 12). A wonderfully designed transmission preferred over the stick shift for the Series III cars.
Air Condition
Wire Wheels
Dunlop Tires (1990)
Twin outside mirrors
AM/AM Cass.
Wood Nardi Steering Wheel
Tri-bar Headlamps
PS & PB

Jaguar 1974 Etype Roadster, It is an original numbers matching car. Rare original period Greensand color. The first owner purchased it new at Baker Motor Car Company on Peachtree Street in Atlanta. He kept it for 10 years. The second owner was the owner of jag Atlanta and Jaguar Performance Center in Atlanta he owned it for 30 years. The original owner had the engine "desmogged"and taken back to European specs at the Jaguar dealership. This resulted in more horsepower and better fuel mileage and a cleaner appearance of the V 12 engine. At that time it was entered in the Jaguar clubs of North America Concours d'Elegance show. It won best jaguar in class. The car has the original paint, which shows wear, and the soft top shoudl be replaced. The price reflects these needs. Has original bumpers, tool kit and accessoires. Did not paint because the new owner can either repaint and keep this original period Greensand color or chose to paint to another color

This 1974 Jaguar XKE Roadster is a Series III roadster that was manufactured on January 28, 1974 and acquired by the current owner in 2015. It is finished in Greensand over Cinnamon leather upholstery and is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. The car is equipped with a black soft top, tri-bar headlights, European-style chrome bumpers, a stainless-steel exhaust system, 15” wire wheels, a Kenwood cassette radio, and air conditioning. Service performed during current ownership included rebuilds of the quad Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, front suspension, and power-steering rack, along with replacement of the cooling fans, alternator, spark plugs, and brake pads, hoses, and master cylinder. This XKE is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with partial service records, spare keys, a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, and a clean North Carolina title.
Finished from the factory in Greensand, the car was reportedly repainted during previous ownership. European-style chrome bumpers have been retrofitted, and additional features include a replacement black Mohair soft top, tri-bar headlights, dual polished exhaust outlets, and chrome side mirrors. The seller notes blisters in the paint as well as crazing on the chrome. The soft top is said to not sit flush with the side windows and a rust hole is evident on the passenger-side floor pan. An area of touchup paint on a fender lip is visible.
Chrome-finished 15” knock-off wire-spoke wheels are mounted with 215/70 Pirelli P4 tires. The front suspension was rebuilt in 2018 with replacement ball joints and bushings, and the power steering rack was refreshed. Additional work during current ownership included replacing the brake pads, hoses, and master cylinder. A brake fluid flush was performed in November 2021.
Originally finished in Olive, the interior was re-trimmed in Cinnamon leather during previous ownership. A replacement carpet kit was installed in 2018, and amenities include a Kenwood cassette radio, rubber floor mats, and crank windows. The air conditioning is inoperable per the seller.
A Nardi wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer. Gauges for voltage, oil pressure, water temperature, and fuel level are mounted in the center of the dash along with an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 47k miles, approximately 3k of which were added by the seller.
The 5.3-liter V12 is fitted with four Zenith-Stromberg carburetors that were rebuilt in November 2018. The alternator, battery, radiator fans and relays, spark plugs, and belts were also replaced during current ownership, while the smog equipment was removed by a prior owner.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission, which received a replacement pan gasket during current ownership. A stainless-steel exhaust system has been installed. Areas of rust are detailed in the video gallery, and the seller notes a leak from the differential.
The Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate indicates a build date of January 28, 1974 and lists serial numbers, original colors, and distribution via British Leyland of New York.
