Current bid $27,877.00 (Reserve not met), 3 bids, 7 days left in auctioni. Buy it now price $43,000.

Sellers description:
The ultimate classic! This is the orginal 1974 Jaguar E-Type, V-12 Roadster Open Two Seater in eye-catching British Racing Green. The odometer reads 30,266 miles . . . unbelievable!! With air conditioning, four on the floor, power rack and pinion steering, power disc brakes, chrome wire wheels, and all gauges functioning, this roadster is highly collectible and can only appreciate in value.

Professionally stripped and repainted to its original British Racing Green color with a brand new camel color convertible top and boot cover, the grand appearance of this car always draws a crowd. The paint is bright and shiny with no previous damage or rust. The interior looks close to new and shows extremely well. This magnificent racing machine has received my TLC (tender loving care) for over 25 years. It has always been garaged, tuned and ready to go. All receipts for maintenance and upgrades are available for serious buyers.

As second owner of this smooth and powerful driving machine, I am now retired and offering "my baby" for sale. If you want to turn heads wherever you drive and get a great investment at the same time, this Jag is for you!

Options:
Powerful 12-cylinder engine, 4-speed transmission (shifts smoothly and responsively), factory air conditioning, power steering and brakes, am/fm stereo, manual gearbox, leather sets, chrome wire wheels, owner manuals, service manuals, new soft top and like new Michelin tires.

Car now offered at:

Sellers description:
Location: Melbourne, Florida 32934
VIN #: UE1S24587
Mileage: 35500
Trans: Manual
Condition: Excellent
Exterior: British Racing Green
Interior: Biscuit

This beautiful 1974 Jaguar E-Type XK-E Convertible has chrome wire wheels, 4 speed manual transmission, ice cold factory a/c and a V12 engine. The biscuit interior has been completely restored to original and all gauges removed and reconditioned. Dashboard lighting has been upgraded to LED's so the instrumentation is visable at night making night driving much more pleasurable. The original radio (which I have and can be reinstalled) works fine, however the radio has been upgraded to include a Sirius satellite radio as well as AM,FM and CD.

The original British Racing Green paint was refreshed in 1995 and the car has been under cover and garaged since then. The paint is bright and shiny. The chrome is almost perfect with a very minor dulling on the right front bumper. The car is virtually rust free. The almost new Michelin tires (less than 1000 miles) have the same size (subtle) whitewall as the car had when new. Brakes, shocks, belts and hoses have been recently replaced and the carburetors rebuilt. The vehicle has been meticulously maintained and runs beautifully.

This gorgeous Jaguar was puchased new in Virginia by a Mr Mailey who drove it from 1974 to 1980 and put 26,000 miles on it. I purchased it from a Mr Crane who bought it from Mr Mailey and owned it from 1980 to 2010 and only drove it 6000 miles. I have owned it since 2010 and only drive it on rare occasions. I have all records of repair and restoration as well as all books and manuals and the original tool set.

This classic and increasingly popular automobile has been loved and cared for, is eminently drivable, or could become a great show car.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
