    Sellers description:
A 1974 (last year of production) 'E' type V12 Roadster with an actual 24,433 miles, many people claim to have low milage cars, this car is documented as it has had only one owner and the actual miles are certified on the title. From there on in it just keeps getting better and better, the Jaguar was bought brand new by the current owner in 1974 so it's complete history is known, which is always a nice thing when buying a car of this calibre. There is an interesting newspaper article which is an interview with the owner about this XKE which comes with the ownership of the car. It was bought from a Jaguar main dealer in Palm Beach, California as a gift for the late owners wife as a surprise over dinner and was promptly shipped to Las Vegas where the couple lived at that time. He was a journalist for CBS so the car was shipped to wherever his career took them, but not used in any states where there was rain or salt on the roads, this couple really loved this Jaguar and that would explain it's total rust free condition. I don't make this statement lightly and this particular car really is a totally rust free car, please check out the pictures, it has never been welded or had any major body work - this is definitely the way to find them. For the last 10 years of it's life it has been in Florida and again never driven in the rain and in fact only 3 people have ever driven it, the late husband, the wife and me. Now it's YOUR turn. If originality is important to you then look no further than this car, apart from servicing it has never been touched. It is so original it even has the original Michelin tires on it from new, yes I know it came with Dunlops but they kept going flat so the owner complained and Jaguar fitted the Michelin tires, though the original Dunlop spare tire is still in the trunk and has never been on the road. Likewise the interior, engine, trans and rear end have never been touched it still has manufacturers oil pressure, does not smoke or leak and certainly shows it's years very well which is all vital when valuing a car of this importance. The glass, chrome and top are also very impressive all of which seem to be the originals and are in very nice shape. The body on the car has the original sheet metal and the floors, rockers, trunk, hood and fenders are all in rust free condition (the car was repainted once I believe and other than that it's had 2 minor body repairs on the rear fenders where the owner drove his golf cart against it whilst parked in his garage, but the repair is very good and you will have to look very hard to spot it). Obviously with the confirmed milage and a rust free body this is a Jaguar enthusiasts dream and I am expecting the bidding to be fast and furious. Bid hard and bid strong and you will be driving around in one very rare example of an XKE. I have decided to keep things fair and exciting and will sell the car exclusively on ebay on proper auction terms, that is low start - NO RESERVE you got it - highest bid wins this beautiful car. NADA values these cars at up to $52,000, whats this one worth with this milage, body, it's known history and the fact that it is 1 owner? I will let you decide.

    Vehicle Condition
An ultra low milage, original, rust free XKE Roadster. It's a nice looking, nice driving one owner car. It has never been abused or thrashed and other than a service and a check over will make a nice addition to your classic car collection. It is not a show car but a super clean driver.

It is missing the chrome trim around the lower scoop (below the grill).
