Sellers comment:
This car was originally purchased in Southern California nine years ago and transported to Illinois. The car was fully restored about ten years ago and has been stored during the winters since arriving in Illinois. This is by far the prettiest XKE I have ever seen. The car is in perfect running condition. The interior is in excellent condition. The paint is Lacquer that is starting to show its age. The top is new. The engine has been fully polished. Much chrome. Braided air craft style hoses. The car comes complete with the tool roll, jack, knock off hammer & tool and complete documentation.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
