This 1974 Jaguar E-type Series 3 V12 Convertible is one of fewer than 500 E-types built in the final year of production. The car presents very well and has reportedly been repainted once, changing the color from yellow to British Racing Green. Showing 72,435 believed-original miles, the car has been cosmetically and mechanically maintained and stored in an air-conditioned and heated Canadian garage.
FEATURES
The 5.3-liter SOHC V12 engine was rated new at 272 horsepower and 304 lb-ft of torque.
The power is transferred to the rear axles through a four-speed manual transmission.
The powertrain is stated as original.
No leaks or weeps are reported.
The four SU carburetors were overhauled last year.
Spark plugs, wiring, and air filters have been replaced.
“Some scratches due to age” are reported in the British Racing Green finish.
“No body damage ever” is stated by the seller.
All original trim, glass, and lamps appear complete and undamaged.
A black vinyl folding top is included.
