This 1973 Jaguar XKE Series III is a 2+2 coupe that is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Finished in Carmen Red over a tan leather interior, the car retains US-market bumper protection and is equipped with air conditioning. Modifications include tinted windows and an older Blaupunkt cassette stereo. This XKE is now offered by the seller on behalf of the late owner’s estate with a clean Arizona title.
The older Carmen Red (301) finish on this example shows fading, chips, checking, and wear throughout. The car retains US-market bumper pads and lighting, and aftermarket tint has been applied to the side and rear windows.
Factory 15″ steel wheels wear chrome beauty rings, Jaguar hubcaps, and Michelin tires measuring 215/70.
Tan leather bucket seats with adjustable headrests are joined by a matching rear bench. Rubber mats protect the tan carpets, and additional equipment includes an older Blaupunkt cassette stereo and an under-dash air conditioning system.
A stock three-spoke steering wheel with an aftermarket cover frames Smiths instrumentation. The five-digit odometer reads approximately 33k miles.
A three-speed automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential. The car was reportedly serviced in the last year, and the seller notes the presence of an oil leak.

This striking V12 coupe is a 1972 left hand drive export model that spent the first 48 years if its life in the car friendly climate of Arizona - as the vendor put it 'it hadn't seen rain until we photographed it in the UK, and its totally rust free'. It was imported to these shores in 2020 and first UK registered the following year. The Jaguar is finished in red, trimmed in tan leather, and rides on steel wheels shod with Michelin tyres.
It appears to be remarkably original, apart from a degree of paintwork, an upgrade from the American specification Dellorto carburettors to a quartet of SUs, and the fitment of a stainless steel exhaust system. The vendor presently regards the 5.3 litre engine, automatic transmission and 2+2 bodywork as excellent and the paintwork and upholstery as good. He is now selling the three keeper E Type (one in the United States, and two in the United Kingdom) complete with owner's boot pack, a selection of invoices, other paperwork and a pair of keys.
