Current bid $5,000.00 (Reserve not met), 1 bid, 6 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
This is a superb low mileage example of a classic automobile that reflects the elegance of the 60’s and 70’s style. The powerful, smooth running V-12 combined with automatic transmission, air conditioning, power steering and power brakes make this a pleasure to drive. Here are some highlights of this car:

-V-12 engine of 250 HP and 288 ft/lbs. of torque
    -Only 56,300 original miles
    -Automatic transmission
-Distributor and carbs reconditioned, runs very well
-Factory A/C- Compressor rebuilt, lines replaced
-Beautiful Signal Red paint-entire car stripped and repainted including the underside of the bonnet.
-Most of the chrome has been replated.
    -New rubber kit installed.
-Interior is original black leather that is in very good condition, new floor mats front and rear. All gauges (including the clock!) work.
-Suspension and brakes inspected, cleaned and in excellent operating condition. Fresh tires on original factory wheels. Spare has original tire on it.
-I have owned it since 1989 and have not seen a better one.

I hope I have registered my Jag the other day for the 1973 Series III 2+2 that I purchased in 2005.

Continue to improve it with new alum. enlarged radiator with 2 built in fans (works great) for the Florida heat; however, I am now considering new tires...where can I purchase originals anyone?

This unique long nose began its restoration in 2011 with a complete disassembly in the front, from the firewall forward. Tilt the bonnet and you’ll find the aluminum V-12 professionally rebuilt (a beauty to behold with chrome weather shields) along with the rebuilt Stromberg carburetors all “purring in sync.” The sleek body was carefully scanned for any flaws (masterfully removed) and then primed and beautifully painted the original Jaguar Signal Red. The interior was reupholstered with the Jaguar black in 2015. The dash has many restored or original rebuilt Smith gauges along with the rare “quad four” factory exhaust. The factory air conditioning compressor was replaced under the bonnet as were the power disc brakes, heater rebuilt and a new extra-large capacity aluminum radiator installed along with two cooling fans with rheostat. Also, the 85 amp alternator was replaced with a 140 amp alternator to more adequately handle the a/c, radiator fans, lights, wipers, etc. All the exterior was completely rechromed and the windshield was high polished. A new fuel tank was installed as was a new fuel pump. In 2018 the rear end was rebuilt and new shocks and disc brakes rebuilt, and in 2019 4 new white-stripe 205/70R 15 tires were balanced and installed along with front-end alignment. In mid-2019 a left hand exterior door mirror with remote cable (as was original) was installed on the driver’s side. Also, added in 2019 was a very rare original British Leyland AM/FM radio (rebuilt) with premier rear speakers and USB outlet (in right pocket cove) that makes the ride even more convenient and comfortable. Also, the tailpipes and mufflers were replaced and the manifolds powder coated grey. With the exclusive wood laminate steering wheel atop the telescoping steering column (standard) and wooden gear shift knob, this luxury car (2+2 back seat) is a cruise-friendly driver that is a pleasure to take anywhere, such as car shows/competition, drive-in, Dairy Queen, Sonic or weekend driving tours.
