    Ebay item 7/20/10
    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-Jaguar-XKE-V12-Vintage-1973-Jaguar-XKE-V12-/29045 ...
Current bid $2,357, no reserve, 9 bids 5 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
1973 Jaguar XKE with a V12 engine. I am the second owner of this vehicle and it has always been garaged while in my possession. The prior owner did the same and was located in California, U.S.A. This car has 41,000 original miles (VERY LOW MILES!!!), black leather, a redish/maroon exterior, power steering, air conditioning, and cassette player. The engine fires right up and purs like new. My original goal was to fully restore this vehicle but a lack of time and money limited that from happening. The body is straight, and has no rust. The car has a clean title and has never been involved in an accident. The paint work is impeccable. I estimate there is about 25% of the restoration remaining with the majority of that being the interior. A very small project. Every piece of the car is original and I have all remaining pieces to finish the project, including the rear piece of glass. The car is being sold as is.

Current bid $5,600. no reserve, 3 bids 6 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Salt Lake City, Utah. 42k miles.

    Sellers description:
This beautiful and rare collector car is up for sale and I am the 2nd owner of this car. It originally came from California. It has been stored in a heated garage for the past 20 years. There is zero rust on the car anywhere. This car runs and drives well. Carbs need to be oiled and will need to be tuned up. There are no known mechanical problems with this Jaguar. Interior is 50% out of 100. Original wire wheels in excelent shape. This is a 2+2 coupe.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
