Nice looking car.

This car was imported to UK several years ago.

The previous owner had some bodywork repairs carried out including new floors, a replacement bonnet and a new frame. Otherwise it was in a sad state and had a seized engine.

Since buying the project, I have completely restored it finishing bodywork, rebuilding the engine and all running gear. I have replaced the auto box with a 5 speed Getrag manual box and also replaced the Stromberg carbs with new SUs. The exterior has been refinished in the original colour, new chrome wires fitted and i now awaiting fitment of a new soft top.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
