Details
Offered here is a 1973 example of a Series 3 Roadster, which was originally supplied in the USA and repatriated to the UK in 1991. The details of the original export of the car are confirmed in the JDHT Heritage Certificate, which also authenticate the specification of the car when new.

Since being imported into the UK, the car has had just 3 owners, the last being a well known figure in E-types circles. It has covered around 5000 to 6000 miles since landing in the UK and has benefited from a new V12 engine, from Jaguar, in 1995, when the odometer read 52,000 miles. It now reads just 56,000 miles. This fact is confirmed by an invoice within the extensive history file, which also shows that the manual gearbox was rebuilt at the same time and a new clutch fitted.

Finished in white with black interior, the car has an interesting history file and has recently benefited from rebuilt Strombergs ( all 4), new electronic ignition, new hood, and new tonneau cover. The car is described as being a very solid, original car, which is in well above average condition and comes complete with an MoT through to Oct 2011 and tax until the end of the year.

Estimate £27500-30000

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
