Grew up in England. Started out with a BSA Rocket Gold Star at age 16 and lived to tell about it. Moved on to a Mini Cooper, followed by a Ford Cortina GT. I have been looking for a while for someone who has removed the unsightly grille from a series 3. It looks perfect, makes you wonder what posessed them to put the grille in in the first place. Is that the original bonnet? I love the series 1 headlights too. very nice. I would eliminate chin air scoop too.

I agree with the comments about the nose, I never liked the "tarted up" nose treatment of the SIII,and wanted to take mine back to the simpler SI look. The bonnet is stock SIII, with the headlight covers coming from Germany.
The car has multiple upgrades including fuel injection, more aggressive cams, stainless headers, 9.25:1 compression (for US pump gas), aluminium flywheel, 5 speed, uprated torsion bars/sway bar/shocks, Wilwood calipers/cross drilled/ventilated disks, 245X40X18 modern tires on Component wheels, aluminium radiator/overflow, Mercedes air conditioning compressor, and even electric window winders (up/down controls hidden in the ashtray....) Also has the hardtop color matched to the car
Car is great fun to drive.

Fantastic opportunity - car totally restored and upgraded in the CJ Workshops 2001/02
This stunning E Type was totally restored in the Classic Jaguar workshops almost 15 years ago. Driven less than 1,000 miles per year since we handed the keys over to its proud owner, it remains in absolutely superb condition. To say that the restoration has stood the test of time would be a huge understatement. Other than a small chip on the right hand cowl (touched in) and a barely noticeable micro blister on the rear edge of the boot lid, the paintwork looks as if it was done 15 months (not years) ago.
