THIS 1973 XKE is a beautiful driver. With only 21,000 documented miles, this Chocolate Brown V-12 XKE is perfect for the collector that wants a car to drive and not to put in the garage. From the outside, it is a trailer queen, but it has not had a frame off restoration but the frame was painted when the engine was removed to rebuild the 4 speed transmission. New paint, shocks, brakes, electronic ignition, and cloth top were installed in the last 800 miles driven or in the past two years. The roadster was purchased in Texas and I am the second owner. Miles are documented, I have the purchase order and scheduled service records, and the car drives and shows it's low milage. The A/C does not operate at this time. Again; this is a car to be used and enjoyed on a summer drive in the Mountains or on the Plains.

Sellers description:
This Series III was in a Fire. Recently converted to fuel injection, this roadster had a fuel leak on the passenger side and I was happy to get out of the car and wait till the Fire Dept. arrived. Most of the damage is on the right side and the interior is TOAST!!!!!. Top frame is rebuildable with new rubber but basically unharmed. Wheels are fine, knockoffs are from a 68 and I have to 73's the go along with the vehicle. Car comes with the 4 carbs that came with the car as well intake manifolds.

Bonnet is in great shape but suffers heat stress on the right side, but not the damage. Chrome is in great shape front and rear. Both front and rear shocks are new, less than 300 miles. Transmission and drive train still in great shape. I believe the Engine is OK with the exception of hoses and fuel injectors. Radiator top tank was new. Rear Clip was not effected. this is truly a car of the parts dealer that can store and sell off to rebuilders of Series 3 Jags. Sale subject to insurance settlement by the end of the month.
