Ebay item 8/31/19www.ebay.com/itm/1973-Jaguar-E-Type/303269913405
Current bid: $10,100 reserve not met 2 bids 9 days left in auction, seller harryetype, 45k miles.
Seller's description:
JAGUAR E-TYPE S3 V12 OTS 4 SPEED MANUAL 1973 LHD
Offered for sale by Sports Car Classics, is this One owner E-type V12 finished in Signal Red with Black leather upholstery. The owner confirm the 45,000 miles indicated is true and correct.
The bodywork is average and is accident free. The outside has been repainted at some stage, as the car was originally Primrose Yellow.
The interior is in good condition and would clean up nicely. It does need a pair of new front carpets as it currently has made up ones inside the car.
Mechanically the car has just had in excess of $20,000 spent with a local well known Jaguar repair shop on the following: Both cylinder heads removed and rebuilt, new water pump and hoses, new upgraded alternator, new clutch slave cylinder, new fuel tank, new fuel pump and much more.
The car drives very nicely, the engine is quiet, smooth and shows good oil pressure. it requires a choke lever, and it has a dragging rear brake calliper which will require attention. We can undertake this job for an additional charge.
This car represents great value and an opportunity to get into an appreciating icon. It does require some cosmetic improvements, however it is a car that can be driven and enjoyed whilst improving the car without the time and expense of buying a full restoration project.
