Current bid US $10,200, no reserve, 17 bids 6 days left in auction, seller asouthern1, 51k miles.

Sellers description:
Solid Southern 1972 Jaguar E-Type V12 2+2 4 speed car with Air Conditioning. The car is Pale Primrose Yellow with Black Interior. It has the V12 engine with the 4-speed manual transmission, Power steering, power brakes, and Cold Air Conditioning. The car is all matching numbers. I have several service records for the car showing 3 previous owners Showing the car spent most of its life in Georgia before moving to Knoxville Tn. The car also has its original Owner's Manuals, Original Service Booklet, and Service Diagram and Wiring Diagram, all of which came with the car new. I also have the Jaguar Heritage Certificate

The car was sold new at Baker Motor Co. in Atlanta Georgia on April 5 1973 to Louise T. West of Hiram Georgia. The car was brought back to Baker Motor Co. on April 17 1973 with 1025 miles on it for its free 1000-mile service. It went back to Baker Motor Co. on September 17 1973 with 9551 miles on it for its 9000-mile Lubrication Service. Louise West kept the car until December 1, 1975 when he sold the car to Ken Maupin Jr, of Atlanta Georgia with 27,838 miles on it. A Mr. Brian Starnes brought the car up to Knoxville Tn. in December 26 2007 with around 50,000 miles on it. From 2008-2010 Mr. Starnes had several things replaced and repaired to make the car road worthy. They had all new Adjustable Coil over shocks installed on the rear, and new torsion bars installed on the front along with adjustable shocks on the front. They redone the seats. They put a stainless-steel exhaust on it, went through the fuel system and brakes. He also had the car repainted. He spent around $10,000 putting the car back on the road not counting the paint job. Mr. Starns didn't drive car very much as it stayed parked in his garage until 2017.

The car currently has 51,840 miles on it. I purchased the car earlier this year and it runs and drives great. All the gauges work as they should, and the air condition blows cold. The car has lots of power and handles the road great. This is a nice car.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
