Car has a buy it now price of $59,900 for 9 days.

Sellers description:
This Series III Roadster currently lives in the Bay Area where it has been with it's owner for the past 27 years. He has kept in in great condition ever since puchasing it. A local Jaguar independent shop has been the only one to service the car in that time. It has been treated a very high quality respray in Red. The seats and dash have been reupholstered in leather. The soft top is in good condition, although it has seldom seen use. The car has been fitted with a stainless exhaust and electronic ignition, but is otherwise all original. The chassis is rust free and the car is in excellent overall condition. It can be used as a daily or weekends driver.

Beautiful state of restoration

Collectible French registration card

This Jaguar E-Type Roadster Series II 4.2L was put into service in October 1970, in the United States, obviously in California. It was found there in 1994, then owned by Mr. Herbert Myers, the car then had 46,779 miles on the clock. When it arrived in France in the course of the 2010s, acquired by Monsieur Danglade, the Jaguar came out of restoration and appeared under a beautiful red paint. It was registered in collection in 2015 and was then acquired by its current owner. He had the front axle serviced because it showed minor play, the car then posted 54,500 miles on the odometer. Since then, its current owner has used it in the Lyon countryside only when the weather was good, so that it now only displays 55,500 miles on the clock. However, the car was started and warmed up at least once or twice a month, even when it was not on the roads. Today this Jaguar E-Type Roadster is in superb presentation condition. The shiny red paint gives a very nice result, the alignments of the sashes are very good, the chrome is in excellent condition, right down to the end of the wheels. The interior, although old, is in a beautiful aesthetic condition, the leathers are beautiful, the dashboard has no particular flaws and the steering wheel is in very good condition. The soft top is in good general condition, it is waterproof despite a slight defect in its angle, in connection with the door. Mechanically, the E-Type starts up smoothly and quickly picks up a stable idle. The whole works normally mechanically. The running gear, their mountings and silentblocs seem recent.

This is a fine example of a Jaguar Type E Roadster, equipped with a very homogeneous 4.2L engine and manual gearbox, all enhanced by a beautiful body.
