Here is a rust free, Jaguar 1970 E-Type 2+2 project car that is near completion.

The car was stripped to bare metal, some very minor bodywork was done to the bonnet and the main body, then spayed in epoxy primer, sanding sealer and finally in high quality acrylic urethane. This is a glass out (except windshield) process no painted rubber.

The paint job is not show quality but it will be decent after some minor touch up and an overall cut and buff. Sufficient paint is included for any touch up needed.

Chrome body trim parts are in hand with a couple of minor trim part missing. The chrome parts are in good condition, but not show quality. All glass is in very good condition. Most rubber weather stripping is either installed, or new in original bags

The engine and transmission are from a very well maintained1985 XJ6 with 53,000 miles, it looks just like the original motor but it has lager valves and much improved internal coolant paths for more reliable operation). It starts, runs and shifts perfectly. It has a new high torque started, new battery, new aluminum radiator and rebuilt Stromberg CD-175 carbs. Ignition is upgraded with Pertronix ignitor and coil. A new, long tube stainless steel header set make for a nice sound!

The steering rack was rebuilt, front brakes have rebuilt calipers and new rotors and hoses. Both master cylinders were replaced and the vacuum booster was rebuilt. Front shocks were replaced and a front end rebuild kit is new-in a box. Fuel tank is new and clean, as are most of the fuel lines. An original jack in its bag is included, the car has 4 new tires on the straight steel wheels, spare wheel with very old tire is along for the ride.

The front seats have been completely rebuilt with all new webbing, foam and leather. The rear seat is included, however it has not been rebuilt. The headliner was redone, some interior panels need a re-do. Included is sufficient vinyl and foam to complete the interior. Both dash pads have bee recovered

The fuse panel was upgraded to replace those terrible UK fuse blocks and most of the wiring is completed and functional.
