On the Surface: This beautiful 1970 Jaguar E-Type Series II 2+2 FHC is a stunning example of the iconic model, finished in striking Carmen Red over a Cream interior with Red piping. Originally registered in the U.S., this car was imported to the UK on May 12, 2003. It has been well cared for, having had just four owners in the UK, with the current custodian purchasing the car in March 2021. Recently, the car spent some time in warm and sunny Spain, although it was never registered there, which has helped to maintain its fantastic, most probably rust-free, condition.
Maintenance: The car comes with a substantial history file, including MOTs dating back to its UK registration in 2003 and invoices amounting to nearly £40,000 from around 2002. The most recent recorded expenditure was in July 2020, when Willow Triumph of Darlington performed a full check-up and service costing £459.60. Willow Triumph was the primary garage for work completed on this E-Type from 2014 to 2020, with total spending during this period reaching £13,467. At some point this example was converted from LHD, as it was originally supplied, to RHD for use on UK roads.

Just sold at auction for £29k plus commission so about £32k...however some confusion with this car....the chassis plate it completely wrong and belongs to a different 2+2 .......also the engine number on the V5 is correct to what's in the car but the chassis number is not visible on the front picture frame.....
