Sellers comment:
1970 JAGUAR ....I have owned her since '02....I started the restoration about 8 months ago when I purchased this car off Ebay. I drove her around but I noticed water leakage from what appears to be the water pump. I looked for about 5 months and I eventuly found one but have not put it in The buyer will also get to get $100 back for the core deposit , I spoke with the original owner fronn NY. he said just before he was hospitilized he had the tranny and the engine rebuilt. The engine sounds great it is a 4.2 and runs very stong Dual Strombergs. The tranny sounds like it could be looked at again the owner said that there need to be more gaskets installed on tranny because it was leaking I did notice some but I will look into this a little further. This car does start runs and drive but the tires have about nothing left. Wire wheel are lookingh good but will need some more scrubbing all the spokes have grime and varnish in them but with a little cleaning the will polish up for a good driver. There are two dents in the car one in the rear driver quarter panel this can be pushed out from the in side. Looks as if the transport guy who delived my car got a little to close to a rail, the other is unfortunaly on the front Bonnett looks like the owner hit a street sign or something backed into it. a good body man will be able to take care of this. I can take closer pictures of this if needed. The bonnett does not look like an original but fits nicely.I do not have the carpet but I wanted to a dark grey Houndstooth in The front windshield has about a quarter size nick in the inside where the rear view mirror was I have the mirror and the rear window has about the same size but from the inside as well. I have most all the parts execpt the front eyelids for the front lightsI have the knockoff hammer, knockoff itseklf I think it's brass and the jack bag w/jack radio cluster holder a clock (ebay) to go into the slot missing in the dash. I have the outer side turn singal (new) dog chewed off .A new front turn signal lower not the dog again not missing much. The Motiff and the front bumpers are it the trunk have all the trunk boards. I can take more pictures if needed No warranty given car is as is..

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
