Current bid $5,369.69, 21 bids, 4 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
1970 Jaguar XKE FHC 4.2 Litre Series II 2+2 Automatic. I recently found this jaguar tucked away in a Baltimore, Maryland foreign Auto shop. It had been under cover for several years. I was told that the past owner was going to have a minor tune up and miscellaneous work done to the car, but it was never completed. So, the car had been in dry storage for the last several years. This car does run and drive and it has very nice paint. It needs a tune up. I have come to the realization that I have too many projects underway to give this vehicle the attention it deserves. Therefore, I am selling it to the Highest Bidder. The car is located in Ohio and it comes with a good title.

Condition :

* Engine # 7 R 38116-9

* Engine: Starts good and it sounds good when running it down the road. It could use a tune up.
* Transmission: Automatic; Shifts ok.
* Brakes: Ok.
* Body: Nice yellow paint with a good shine. I believe it is 'primrose yellow' color. I do not see any visible rust on paint.
* Floors: There is one hole on drivers side. Rear floors are in average shape. Rear floors are 'ok' where arm comes up.
* Trunk area: There is one small hole through rear trunk area.
* Bonnet: It seals good; Clean on opposite side of bonnet.
* Doors: Seal good.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
