Ebay item 7/15/12
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1970-Jaguar-E-Type-4-2-Series-2-Rare-Power-Steering-2-2-1970- ...
Classified ad, asking £33,495.

Sellers description:
A beautifully presented, all numbers match (heritage certificate supplied) series two E Type 2+2 coupe original right hand drive.

One of only 138 ever produced with power- steering, chassis number PIR35669, the'P' denoting a factory fitted power steering option.

This car was originally supplied by Henley's of London and in the past 10 years been subject to a total rebuild; body stripped to bare metal and all corroded sections replaced (photo log) re-painted in it's original livery British Racing Green. New glass, rubber seals, new chrome and shod on new tyres with new chrome wire wheels. Brakes overhauled, new clutch fitted, recent engine re-build, electronic ignition and a totally new interior trim. The cost of all of this in today's market far exceeds the asking price for the vehicle. Exhibited last year on the stand at the Northern Event of the Jaguar Owners' Club. Only offered for sale because my son, who owns the vehicle now lives in America. I'm currently garaging the car and lightly using it. Nice original Reg number included (BYE) An absolute pleasure to drive.

Just flew through it's MOT with no advisories so just over 12 months MOT and 12 months Tax. She is good to drive away.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
