Car has a buy it now price of $39,500 for 6 days.

Sellers description:
1970 Jaguar E-type Coupe. This great example has been owned by the same meticulous owner for almost 30 years. Only 61,511 original miles have been placed on this car. The color combination is original of Willow Green with black interior. This is confirmed by the Jaguar Daimler Certificate and all numbers match per this certificate. This great Jaguar came with power steering and working Air Conditioning, which together make for a pleasant driving experience. The previous owner had a lot of work done to this car during his ownership. Some of the work he had done is as follows. He had a complete repaint done to the body of the car. In addition, he had all the chrome redone front and rear bumpers re-chromed. I do not think this car has ever been disassembled and that is a great thing. Furthermore, he had the engine rebuilt and tells me there is about 1,000 miles on the engine since the rebuild. He also had the rear end taken out and rebuilt. The power steering rack was rebuilt as well. The car recently had a new starter installed and received a tune up as well. This Jaguar E-type runs and drives very well. The compression range is 155 psi to 157 psi on all 6 cylinders. The gears are easy to shift through. The Jaguar presented here spent its life in good climates as can be seen upon close inspection.

Paint/body: The paint is very nice. It looks like it was redone not too long ago. This color looks absolutely stunning on a coupe and especially on this car with the re-chromed parts, redline tires etc. The body is very straight and everything shuts as it should. The paint under the front and rear bumpers looks as good as the body of the car and is very clean. There is no rust anywhere on this great car.

Chrome: The chrome bumpers, motif bar and bumperettes have all been re-chromed. In addition, the "clam shells" around the rear lamps looks like it has been re-chromed as well. The balance of the chrome looks like it is in very good to excellent original condition.

Interior: Most of the interior is in original condition. The interior seats are in excellent original condition and have original "patina". It looks like the carpeting was replaced at some point as it does look newer. The headliner is very clean and looks to be in excellent original condition. The handle for the parking brakes has some chrome peeling. The original radio does work. The Air Conditioning on this car is working as it should as well.

Wheels/Tires: The chrome wire wheels are in excellent and they look to be in original condition. The knock offs are also in original condition as well. In addition, the Michelin redline tires look newer and are in great shape.

Underside/floors: The underside and floors are solid and very clean. The front frame rails under the car are straight, clean and solid. The rear end (rear suspension) is very clean. Most definitely, one of the cleaner undersides you will find on these cars.

Engine Compartment: The engine compartment is very clean and tidy. Under the bonnet is also clean and painted nicely. The frame rails under the bonnet are straight and the correct Willow Green Color. Overall a nice presentation in the engine bay.

Spare tire Compartment: The spare tire compartment is very nice. It is still in great original condition. You can still see the original insulation in the spare tire compartment. The rear door lines up right and there is no sagging. The chrome spare wheel and tire look good. It has the original jack, hammer, knock off adaptor, and hammer that came with the car.

Overall: This is a beautiful and excellent condition coupe. That said this car can be taken to shows, but it is not a trailer queen that should never be driven. This car should be enjoyed. It probably would do well at Jaguar Club events and local car shows. Jaguar E-type Coupes are great investments that have been steadily going up in value to near roadster pricing. They are hard to find done well and maintained as nicely as this one has.
