This 1964 Jaguar 'E' type 3.8 fixed head coupe has been the subject of the most comprehensive rebuild programme imaginable and it is now in concours condition throughout.
The car is finished in Carman Red with Black trim and it has only completed 250 dry miles since this rebuild. It is the preferred 3800cc six cylinder model and has the manual gearbox and, not surprisingly a current M.O.T. and tax until August next year.
The list of what has been doen seems endless and certainly we have not been able to spot anything missing that should have been done - that is probably because nothing has been missed. We can only let this series 1 car speak for itself on the day. It will definitely say it better than I can. It was originally a left hand drive car and it has been converted during the rebuilding process

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
