Sellers comment:
Offered for Sale, this is one great E-type Jaguar that has been garaged its entire life. I am the 4th owner, the 3rd owner had it for 3 weeks and drove into a parked car damaging the bonnet. I purchased a very clean bonnet, had it bead blasted, and prepped for painting. The bonnet as well as the entire car is an exceptional vehicle, requiring TLC. The tires are new. I have owned the vehicle since the 1980's with the intention of putting it on the road but have had limited time with street rods and motorcycles to also play with. I kept the engine running for years but it has been sitting in my garage for the last 6 years without being run so it will require cleanup maintenance. The original aluminum radiator was damaged so I have replaced it with a brass radiator. The rubber will need to be replaced in all of the windows. This coupe is the cleanest I have ever seen. It took a 1st place in a concours for best original condition prior to having been damaged. The engine was rebuilt by the second owner who was a close friend and took it to the concours the year before I purchased it. The engine has approx 8000 miles on it. Also offered to the buyer is a 5 year collection of E-type magazine and a frame mounted 16x20 print of the 1964 E-type Jaguar. Don't pass up this opportunity to own a great prospect for another concours Jaguar, Intgerior is the original leather, still looks great. The leather on the dash is showing age as are the sunvisors which are curling and the original mohair ? on the rear deck latch . Headline looks very good. This car is all original with the exception of the bonnet. I can provide serial numbers on all parts requested. If I can get to them.
