Current bid $24,100 reserve not met, 5 bids 6 days left in auction. Complete VIN on the car is J63887746

Sellers description:
Chequered Flag International is pleased to offer this 1963 Jaguar E Type 3.8 Series I Coupe originally in Opalescent Silver Sand with Tan interior. Repainted once years ago in a brighter color with more gold in it. Very straight, rust and accident free example. Original Black Plate California car owned at least 30 years by its last owner. Original matching numbers engine and cylinder head. Later all synchro 4.2 gearbox fitted - which is a real plus if you've ever struggled with the old 3.8 box. Really good mechanically, very strong and quiet engine with good oil pressue and no smoke. Excellent gearbox - good synchros. Steering and brakes are good. This is a pleasure to drive. Not a tired old thing that needs everything as many of these are. Front seats have been redone in vinyl but the rest of the interior is very nice indeed. This is a great little car.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
