I own this car. I bought it from Doc's Jags in Arizona in November of 2004. This was not purchased by a guy in Sweden. It is still in the USA and looking great.

Doc's description for the 2004 sale was as big of a scam as he was.... I'm glad to know the car is being restored.

I just uploaded some restoration photos if anyone is interested. I have owned the car for 10 years but have only been restoring it actively for about 5 or 6. It took me a long time to find the right person to restore the car. Everything is done to perfection and literally to factory original specs (with the exception of the radiator and a 5 speed tranny upgrade). I do have the original matching transmission but did not put it in the car. We are just finishing the interior but that is a challenge because on the 61 FHC there are many interior trim pieces that are different than a 62 and which need to be fabricated or refurbshed and not available in the market. Most everything on the car is original and it started as very very rust free and matching numbers all the way around. I have the heritage certificate as well. It is not, as mentioned by Doc's original ad above, an outside the bonnet lock FHC. I dont know why that guy put that notation in there, it is clearly false. This car was produced on Dec 8, 1961 so could not be an OBL. I have not yet even heard the engine run actually. I have alot of patience and plan to wait until I am sitting in a completed interior to turn the key. This car is now its correct carmen red with black leather interior per the Heritage cert.
