This wonderfulJaguar E-type coupe was delivered in 1962 and is a highly sought after 'Flat Floor'. The E-Type has been professional body-off restored and was carried out in Opalescent Gunmetal Grey, an original Jaguar color and is really fantastic in combination with the chrome. JAGUAR Type E 3.8L FHC coupé " plancher plat " - 1961 Châssis #885210 (décembre 1961) Moteur d'origine #R2735-9 " Matching numbers"

This jaguar is matching numbers as evidenced by factory certificate JDHT n°71405 which indicates leaving the factory on November 16, 1961 and delivery to New York on December 2, 1961.”

The car presented is an extremely rare "flat floor" coupé, leaving the factory during the first year of production in 1961 and registered at the very beginning of the year 1962. Equipped with its original engine and in a magnificent combination In "Opalescent gun metal" metallic gray with red leather upholstery, this example has undergone a complete and meticulous restoration since the bodywork was stripped around 2017 and has hardly been driven since. This Jaguar has a Dynamotor alternator conversion, an additional fan with thermostatic triggering and a Bell stainless steel exhaust line. A road test indicates normal behavior with good hot oil pressure, no abnormal noises and no particular smoke. However, it is advisable to carry out a standard overhaul on a vehicle that has been used very little for five years.

It hold its original engine and one of the most sought after color scheme « Opalescent gun metal » over red leather and black hood. Near to concours condition from a 2017 nuts and bolts restoration, this e type has just been driven around 50 miles. It has a Dynamotor alternator conversion, a Kenlow fan and a complete stainless steel exhaust system from Bell. This jaguar run well with a good oil pressure and no smoke, but need a service before taking the road.
