Sellers description:
This is a spectacular 1964 Jaguar E Type Series 1. featuring the 3.8 liter engine, toggle switches, covered headlights, british racing green etc.
I have receipts of the work I have had done. Prior owner redid the car paint. I have replaced bb crack in the windshield with new windshield, recovered dash pad, refreshed the ignition system, replaced blower fan motor, set up all engine adjustments, etc. The car is a pleasure to drive. It was rarely driven and only in the summer. It was very well taken care of. It comes with the cover as seen on one of the pictures. Smoke free enviroment. Replaced L/R half shaft u-joints Rear Main Crank Seal Rear Camshaft Plug Front timing cover casket front crakshaft seal. Complete clutch assembly, flywheel resurface, Battery, Fan Motor, Center Wiper Motor, Fuel pump. Remove and reinstall cylinder head and make adjustments. Rebuild head, recondition all valves, replace valve guides, mill head surface, set valve tappet shims. Spark plugs, points, condensor, cap, rotor. Car is continuously garage kept. Front hood has small bubble of paint in picture. Heat blows. Radio not working. No air. Spoke wheels have all spokes could use dipping. Mechanic said could eventually use new valve cover gaskets and new rear brake pads. All work performed by professional mechanics in foreign car repair centers.
