This Jaguar Type E 3.8 roadster was delivered new in June 1963. It has its Jaguar Heritage certificate and is in superb general condition. Purchased from Eric Peru in 2000 by the current owner, the car was prepared for competition over 25 years ago and continues to be improved each year.

Completely restored in 2018 at MECAUTO in Belgium, this Type E works perfectly, the current engine has done 2 Tour Auto (it has just been overhauled), the gearbox and the axle are new. The racing consumables are up to date and the roll bar is new. It is equipped with a 160l tank (ideal for endurance) and the equipment is up to date.

This Type E has the advantage of having kept its original bodywork and the level of preparation is intermediate. The car develops more than 300 hp, the running gear, chassis, brakes and interior have been prepared to the latest FIA specifications in force. It’s a car that has always placed well in special stages!

This Jaguar is known from rallies and circuits and has raced in Spain, France and Belgium.

More than 13 participations in the Tour Auto and 2 in the Le Mans Classic. It is a reliable E-Type, with a good history and appreciated. It will not require specific fees from its new owner.

Finally, it is important to note that the price is particularly consistent with the current market. Allowing access to one of the myths of the historic race.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
