Description:
Invoices dating back to the 1980s
Engine and gearbox rebuilt within the last eight months
This matching numbers Jaguar E-Type Series I Roadster is finished in Carmen Red with black leather interior. When manufactured it was in left hand drive guise and shipped to the US, it was then repatriated to the U.K. and converted to right hand drive some 30 years ago. More recently the car has undergone major work with the engine being fully rebuilt by Classic and Modern Engine Services of Bracknell in September 2022. The Moss gearbox was rebuilt in August 2022 by Hardy Engineering. Sitting proudly on unmarked chrome wire wheels, this beautiful E-Type also benefits from having a new Mohair hood. We are advised this Jaguar drives with no known faults and is supplied with a V5C registration document, a Jaguar Heritage Certificate and invoices dating back to the 1980s. This is a perfectly useable example of one of the finest cars ever to leave Browns Lane.
