Sellers description:
1963 Jaguar E-Type 3.8 Roadster with California black license plates and 100% solid metal. Rare factory color combination: Opalescent Sliver Blue body with Dark Blue interior (per Jaguar's Heritage Certificate, attached). Full restoration recently completed: Body disassembled and taken to metal; all panels hand-dollied and hand blocked prior to painting; epoxy primer; base-clear factory original paint wet sanded and polished; reassembled with all new rubbers and seals (including windshield); undercarriage dry-ice blasted to metal, hand prepped, and sealed with epoxy primer and factory-correct paint; 3.8 liter engine freshly rebuilt, new clutch installed; new factory correct Connolly leather interior; new brakes and tires - too many mechanical and cosmetic details to list. A gorgeous example of the "sexiest car every designed". Garaged black-plated California cars such as this have the best condition factory metal in the world. This is a freshly-restored car that was previously stored and not driven for over 20 years. Please note that during the break-in period some adjustments should be made and minor issues may arise, as this car gets comfortable on the road again. Runs and drives superb, awaiting some more usage to break it in.
