1962 Jaguar S1 XKE 3.8 covered headlights, all matching numbers.

Rust-fee except floor panels, which has some rust and has been poorly patched in the late 1970's.

One owner car since 1977. The car has been stored in a dry warehouse. Original factory color is Opalescent Silver Blue.

Engine was completely rebuilt by North East Machine Motor Supply, Inc. New York in April of 1995 and has never been started since. Original receipts comes with the car.

This car was built in July of 1962, but it was sold and titled as a 1963 model. It has all the early 3.8 features like, classic spear seats, alloy center dash, console and toggle switches.

This all matching number car with 59,932 miles shown on odometer represents a great opportunity to purchase an early and good original and complete Jaguar 3.8 Series 1 E-type Roadster for a concourse restoration. The car comes with a Jaguar heritage trust certificate and is one of 2,123 left-hand drive Roadsters produced in 1962, the second year of production of those fabulous cars.

Overall a very correct car true to its heritage.
