Ebay item 6/5/17
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1962-Jaguar-E-Type-Convertible/122525112671
Sellers description:
Jaguar E Type S1 Convertible 3.8
After long discussions we have now made the decision that we will offer this Jaguar E Type for sale in its "AS IS" condition.
We always had intended to restore this car but with the work load that we have we will always push the restoration in front of us.
The car is currently fitted with a 3.6 V8 engine and an automatic gearbox (which was fitted to the car in the US prior to us buying it). We have a period 3.8 engine with correct carburettors and a period gearbox that will go with the car as well as a set of bucket seats.
The chassis number of the car is 877386 and the number of the engine that comes with the car is R8949-9
The car was manufactured on the 25th of May 1962 whereas the engine block has a casting date of 08.10.1962
A US title document as well as the import documents are with the car
